Public Works
The Public Works Director is responsible for proper maintenance and operation of the water treatment plant, the wastewater treatment plant, and general upkeep of the city. Compliance with the Environmental Protection Agency and Minnesota Pollution Control Agency directives is paramount in ensuring clean drinking water as well as meeting standards for disposal of wastewater. Parks, streets, snow removal, and general maintenance of city resources make up the rest of the department.
