Smell Gas?, Break a service line?  Leave the area immediately on foot and tell others to do the same.  Do not use electric switches, telephones (including cell phones), drive or start a vehicle, or do anything that could cause a spark. Once safely away from the area, call CenterPoint Energy emergency gas leak hotline at 1-800-296-9815 and dill 911 to report the location of the leak.
